PUBLIC NOTICE OPENING ON PRINEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION The City of Prineville Planning Commission has an opening to be appointed by the City Council. The deadline for applications is September 30th and may be extended if needed. A Community Service application is available on the City’s website at and at City Hall. The Planning Commission consists of 7 regular members who are appointed by City Council to four-year terms or a completion of a vacated term. The current opening would be for the remainder of 2019 and a re-appointment to a 4-year term. The Commission participates in the preparation, revision and implementation of the City’s Land Use Code and Comprehensive Plan for the physical development of the City. The Commission conducts hearings and makes decisions and/or recommendations on a variety of land use applications and planning issues as assigned by City Council. The Commission meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 P.M. in the City Hall Council Chambers. Published: Aug. 20, 2019 126023
