At this hearing, the PZHB will consider a request for approval of a Zone Change on a portion of three properties totaling approximately 110.27 acres in size from MFR-2 Multi-Family Residential and SFR-4.5 Single Family Residential to MU-VTC Mixed Use Village Town Center. The purpose of the Zone Change is to correct the misaligned zoning boundaries of the Reed’s Crossing Town Center along SE Blanton Street between SE 67th Avenue and just east of SE Cornelius Pass Road. The correction will place the zoning boundary in the center of the SE Blanton Street right-of-way. The subject properties can be specifically identified as Tax Lots 1700 and 1800 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1S2-11, and Tax Lot 100 on Tax Map 1S2-11CB, and are generally located north of SE Blanton Street, south of SE Tualatin Valley Highway, east of SE 67th Avenue and west of SW 209th Avenue. The property owner and applicant is David Brentlinger, GLC – South Hillsboro, LLC, represented by Mimi Doukas, AKS Engineering and Forestry, LLC. The applicable criteria for this application are included in Section 12.80.168 of the Community Development Code (CDC). The CDC may be viewed online at or in the Planning Department office. The staff report on this matter will be available on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. The staff report, the application materials, and the applicable criteria are available for public inspection at no cost, or copies can be provided at reasonable cost, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays, in the Planning Department at the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, 4th floor, Hillsboro, Oregon. All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting and will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning the proposal. ORS 197.763 provides that under certain circumstances, the record may remain open or a continuance may be granted upon the request of a participant. If you are unable to attend the hearing, you may submit a written statement to the Planning Director at the address shown on the first page of this notice, on or before the hearing date. Telephone conversations cannot be accepted as testimony. Please reference the Case File No. on all written testimony. Pursuant to ORS 197.763, failure to raise an issue at the final evidentiary hearing, or by close of the record, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
