NOTIFICATION OF PARENTAL RIGHTS This is the annual notification to parent/guardians of students in the Culver School District #4, of their rights in regards to student education records. Parent/guardians have the right to: a) Inspect and review the student’s education record; b) Request the amendment of the student’s education record to ensure they are not inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise in violation of the student’s privacy or other rights; c) Request no disclosure of personally identifiable information contained in the education records of the student; d) File a complaint with the U.S. Department of Education concerning alleged failures by the District to comply with the requirements of the Family Rights and Privacy Act; e) Obtain a copy of the District’s adopted policy JO – Education Records at the School District Office at 412 West E Street, Culver; and f) Receive translation assistance if requested.
