TRI-COUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT OF OREGON PALLET RACKING SYSTEM DESIGN, FURNISH AND INSTALLATION Proposals due: Sept. 17, 2019 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS ITB NO.: BC200044ZC The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) invites sealed technical proposals in response to the first step of this two step Invitation to Bid process. Firms determined to be qualified under the technical information submission of Step One will be invited to submit bids for the goods and services proposed in the second step of the two step process. One contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. TriMet will receive sealed technical proposals via its eProcurement System (TriP$) until 2:00 PM, Pacific Time, on September 17, 2019. Technical Proposals will not be publicly opened. A pre-bid meeting at the work site (4421 NE Columbia Blvd., Portland, OR) will be held on September 9, 2019 at 9:30 AM. An additional pre-bid meeting at TriMet’s Ruby Junction facility (2222 NE Eleven Mile Ave., Gresham, OR 97030) will be held on September 10, 2019 at 9:30 AM. Pre-bid meetings are not mandatory. Bidders must register on TriMet’s Procurement System (TriP$) at https://trimet.org/procurement/index.htm. In the event solicitation addenda are issued only registered Bidders will be notified via email of the availability of addenda for download. Acknowledgement of addenda will be required. This solicitation is for a public work subject State of Oregon Prevailing Wage requirements (ORS 279C.800 – 279C.870). Bidders who are determined to be qualified under Step One must certify compliance with prevailing wage requirements when submitting their Step Two bid. Step Two bidders must be actively registered with the CCB with the proper endorsement(s) and carry a public work bond. Step Two bidders will be required to submit a bid bond in the amount of 10 percent of the bid and the successful Contractor will be required to obtain 100% performance and payment bonds in the amount of the contract.
