The general service customer class (commercial/industrial) rate would increase from $0.0489/kWh for the first 25,000 kWh to $0.0517/kWh. Over 25,000 kWh, the rate would increase from $0.0427/kWh to $0.0446/kWh. The primary service discount per kilowatt (kW) of $0.62/kW would remain the same. The demand charge for more than 50 kW of $7.50/kW would remain the same. The monthly base rate for single-phase service would increase from $17.11 to $17.88 and the monthly base rate for three-phase service would increase from $37.15 to $38.75. The new or emerging large loads, exceeding 3.1 average megawatts, rate would increase from $0.0583/kWh to $0.0616/kWh for the first 25,000 kWh and $0.0521/kWh to $0.0544/kWh above 25,000 kWh. The customer meter charge, demand charge and primary service discount would be the same as general service customers. The Board does not propose changes to the rate for its Green Power. The rate would remain $0.92 per 100 kWh. Public testimony is welcome. Written comments will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on October 8, at the Canby Utility office.
