At this hearing, the PZHB will consider a request for approval of a Zone Change on two properties totaling approximately 1.52 acres in size to bring the properties into compliance with the underlying Comprehensive Plan designations. Both properties are currently zoned MFR-1 Multi-Family residential, this request would change the zoning of Tax Lot 1100 (0.96 acres) to MFR-3 Multi-Family Residential, and Tax Lot 1400 (0.56 acres) to MU-N Mixed Use-Neighborhood. The purpose of the zone change is to allow future development of both sites. The subject properties can be specifically identified as Tax Lots 1100 and 1400 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1N2-36AB, and are generally located north of NE Walker Road, south of NE Snoqualmie Street and east and west of NE 101st Avenue. The property owners are Vijay Chand, Jagan Reddy, and Thomas Hill. The applicant is Ron Guillory, Homestead Development Corp., represented by Mimi Doukas, AKS Engineering and Forestry, LLC.
