PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the City of Estacada Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 24, 2019, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon, to consider the following applications: Conditional Use #2019-02-CU. The applicant, BHT Properties Group LLC, is requesting a conditional use permit according to Section 16.36.030(A) of the Estacada Municipal Code, to allow outdoor storage of vehicles, which will be sold wholesale, generally online, to registered buyers only. There will be no onsite retailing activity. A 9,000 square foot support structure is also proposed. The property is described as 34E, 17B, tax lot 2000 – 1125 NW Noble Drive. The subject property is zoned M-1 (light industrial). This conditional use is subject to section 16.36, 16.76 & 16.88 of the Estacada Municipal Code and Chapters 7, 9 & 10 of the Comprehensive Plan. Conditional Use #2019-03-CU. The applicant, Raymond Sarozek, is requesting a conditional use permit according to Section 16.36.030(A) of the Estacada Municipal Code, to allow unenclosed light industrial uses including outdoor hemp processing and drying within two (2) 576 square foot metal framed structures sited directly behind the existing 11,000 square foot industrial building. There will be no onsite retailing activity. The property is described as 34E, 17B, tax lot 900 – 1100 NW Noble Drive. The subject property is zoned M-1 (light industrial). This conditional use is subject to section 16.36, 16.76 & 16.88 of the Estacada Municipal Code and Chapters 7, 9 & 10 of the Comprehensive Plan. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on these proposed actions may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission’s decision based upon that issue. The final decision of the Estacada Planning Commission may be appealed to the City Council within 15 days of the Commission’s final decision date. A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost in the City Recorder’s Office at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost. A copy of the City’s staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing.
