Grant Utilization Report: Public Notice.

PUBLIC NOTICE GRANT UTILIZATION REPORT The Highland Subdivision Water District, with the help of an internship grant from the Special Districts Association of Oregon, was able to upgrade the monitoring system of the wells to the reservoir level with PLCs and radio controls so that our district now can access the information without having to drive all over. With the new system we will receive alarms from the PLC to board members via emails on a secure site. We never had any communication with our main well which is located about 10 miles away and is the main source of water for the district in the peak demand times. This system now ties all our wells and reservoir along with a high pressure switch together. This system is a great asset to the district and our customers to ensure that they will always have water and that we have better control of the system. A huge amount of praise goes to the internship program for enabling us to acquire this updated system for us and our customers. Published Oct. 4, 2019 133247
