NOTICE OF FLOODPLAIN ALTERATION The City of Beaverton intends to issue building and site development permits for the proposed Patricia Reser Center for the Arts and Garage project. The project site at the northeast corner of Crescent Street and Rose Biggi Avenue is partly within the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) designated 100-year floodplain of Beaverton Creek. The work proposed includes demolition of the existing parking areas, site grading, building and parking structure construction, sidewalk/retaining wall and street construction, utility work, and new landscaping that may affect flood waters during large storm events. Written appeals, based solely on anticipated adverse effects of this work, may be filed with the City Recorder on or before 5:00 PM, PST, Monday, November 4, 2019. This notice is intended to meet the requirements of Beaverton City Code, Section 9.05.085.
