NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL ORDINANCE 2833 Hearing Date, Time, and Location Tuesday, November 5, 2019; 6:30 p.m. City Council Chambers 380 A Avenue Lake Oswego, OR 97034 Nature of Hearing The Lake Oswego City Council will hold a public hearing at the above date, time and location to consider Ordinance 2833 adopting updates to the state building code and authorizes the City Building Official to enforce standards that are being removed from the state building code relating to fences; retaining walls; freestanding radio, television and other telecommunication antennae, and towers; tanks; floating structures; and docks; and compliance with related local codes, e.g., tree protection, tree removal. ORDINANCE 2833 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE OSWEGO UPDATING THE REFERENCE OF STATE BUILDING CODES TO JANUARY 1, 2020; AND AMENDING LOC CHAPTER 45 BUILDING CODE TO ADOPT ARTICLE 45.02 FENCES, RETAINING WALLS, FREESTANDING RADIO, TELEVISION AND OTHER TELECOMMUNICATION ANTENNAE, AND TOWERS, TANKS, FLOATING STRUCTURES, AND DOCKS Copies of this Ordinance will be available one week before the meeting in the City Recorder’s Office and will also be available at the November 5 meeting.
