CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO.: PUD-001-19 NE 24TH AVENUE APARTMENTS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Hillsboro Planning Commission, at or shortly after 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, in the Shirley Huffman Auditorium of the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, Hillsboro, Oregon. At this hearing, the Commission will consider a request for approval of a consolidated Planned Unit Development (PUD) application for a 27-unit multi-family residential apartment development. The proposed development will consist of two, 3-story buildings to be located on a site approximately 1.36 acres in size. Additional site improvements include associated parking, pedestrian connections, landscaping and open space. The applicant is requesting major adjustments to maximum density, and building orientation. The property owners are Mai Trieu and Tai Dang, the applicant is Tai Dang and the applicant’s representative is Matt Newman, NW Engineering, LLC. The subject property can be specifically identified as Tax Lots 700, 800, 1200 and 1202 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1N2-32DC and is generally located north of E Main Street, south of the Westside Lightrail Line, east of NE 24th Avenue and west of NE 25th Avenue. The applicable criteria for a PUD application are included in Section 12.80.120 of the Community Development Code (CDC) and in Section 12.80.156 of the CDC for Major Adjustments.
