BEAVERTON PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER PLAZA AND ENTRYWAY DR2019-0130 / SDM2019-0013 / SDM2019-0014

Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided: BEAVERTON PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER PLAZA AND ENTRYWAY DR2019-0130 / SDM2019-0013 / SDM2019-0014 The applicant, City of Beaverton, requests Design Review Two and Sidewalk Design Modification approval for the development of a public plaza and entryway on 0.29 acres adjacent to the Beaverton Public Safety Center, currently under construction. The site is located at 6055 SW Hall Blvd; Tax Lot 00100 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S121AA. The site is zoned Community Service (CS). The project site is located within the Highland Neighborhood Association Committee. Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in the following sections of the Beaverton Development Code: 40.03 Facilities Review, 40.20.15.2.C Design Review Two, and 40.58.15.C Sidewalk Design Modification. The Facilities Review Committee Meeting with the applicant will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body but advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public, but is not intended for public testimony. Written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2019, in order to be addressed in the staff report. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Current Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. The Director is the decision-making authority for the above application and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around Wednesday, December 25, 2019, pursuant to Section 50.40.10.
