CITY OF HILLSBORO NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CASE FILE NO.: DR-071-19 PGE MAIN SUBSTATION REDEVELOPMENT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission, at or shortly after 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, in the Shirley Huffman Auditorium of the Civic Center, 150 E Main Street, Hillsboro, Oregon. At this hearing, the Commission will consider a request for approval of a consolidated Development Review and Conditional Use application for redevelopment of an existing substation. Proposed site improvements include the replacement of aging equipment, expansion of the existing equipment yard, new fencing and landscape screening. The property is owned by the Portland General Electric Company (PGE), the applicant is PGE and the applicant’s representative is Ben Schonberger, Winterbrook Planning. The subject property is specifically identified as Tax Lot 301 on Washington County Assessor’s Tax Map 1N2-32DC and is generally located north of E Main Street, south of the Westside Lightrail Line, and west of NE 24th Avenue. The applicable approval criteria for a Development Review application may be found in Section 12.80.40 of the Community Development Code (CDC) and in Section 12.80.20 for Conditional Use.
