HEARING NOTICE NEWBERG CITY COUNCIL The Newberg City Council will hold two public hearings (administrative and quasi-judicial) on December 9, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the Newberg Public Safety Building, 401 E Third Street, Newberg, OR to evaluate the following proposals: 1. N Center Street Vacation: Consider an ordinance vacating the right-of-way and closure of N Center Street north of E Fulton Street for expansion of Friendsview University Village. Applicant: AKS Engineering & Forestry on behalf of Friendsview Manor, Inc. File: VAC19-0001 2. Molzahn partition in Newberg Area of Influence: Consider a proposal to partition a residential parcel in Yamhill County within the Newberg Area of Influence into two lots and make a recommendation to Yamhill County. 2716 NE Roberts Lane, Tax Lot 3208AD-01200. File: GEN19-0013 You may examine information regarding this project at the Newberg Community Development Department, 414 E First Street, Newberg, OR 97132, or on the city website at The staff recommendation regarding this project will be available one week before the hearing. If you have any questions, please call the Newberg Planning Division at 503-537-1240. All interested persons may appear and provide testimony. The City Council asks that 12 copies of written testimony be submitted to the City Recorder before 12:00 PM on December 5, 2019. Written testimony received after that time will be brought before the Council on the night of the meeting for consideration and a vote to accept or not accept it into the record.
