METRO CHEHALEM RIDGE NATURE PARK TRAILHEAD AND OVERLOOKS CONSTRUCTION Bids due: Jan. 16, 2020 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3767 Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting proposals for Chehalem Ridge Nature Park Trailhead and Overlooks Construction. Sealed proposals are due no later than 2:00 PM Pacific Time, January 16, 2020, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Jon Deveaux, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3767. The purpose of this ITB is to seek proposals from qualified firms. Metro requires the services of an experienced site development contractor to construct park site improvements such as, but not limited to: grading and earthwork, utilities, an automated gate, asphalt and gravel parking lots, welcome plaza and walkways, stormwater infrastructure, plumbed restroom facilities, sanitary leach fields, pre-fabricated shelter structures, site furnishings, stone walls and steps, restoration and landscape planting, and regulatory and wayfinding signs. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on December 17th, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. at Chehalem Ridge Natural Area. Solicitation and Bid documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN), at Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
