TA2019-0002 Vehicle Camping Text Amendment

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, the City Council of the City of Beaverton will hold a public hearing to consider the legislative text amendment described below. The City Council will meet at the Beaverton City Hall Council Chambers, located on the first floor of The Beaverton Building at 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, Oregon. TA2019-0002 Vehicle Camping Text Amendment The City proposes to amend the Beaverton Development Code by adding a definition of vehicle camping, developing siting standards for vehicle camping, exempting vehicle camping from certain development standards, and identifying vehicle camping as a land use in residential, commercial, industrial and multiple use zoning districts. Approval criteria for the Text Amendment can be found in Development Code Section You may review a copy of the Planning Commission Land Use Order, staff report and all other documents related to the proposed amendment at the City’s Community Development Department public counter, located on the 4th floor of The Beaverton Building, on or after December 31, 2019 (at least 7 days prior to the City Council hearing date). Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The staff report will also be available online at https://apps2.beavertonoregon.gov/DevelopmentProjects/ Failure to raise an issue prior to or at a hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to a court of competent jurisdiction on that issue. To be addressed in the staff report, written comments on the above proposed ordinance actions shall be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2020.
