NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EXEMPTION FROM COMPETITIVE BIDDING FOR A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT WEBSTER REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT January 8, 2020 In accordance with LCRB C-049-0600 and ORS 279C.335, this public notice is for the purpose of taking comments on the Housing Authority of Clackamas County’s (HACC) draft findings for the approval of an exemption from competitive bidding for a public improvement (i.e., alternative contracting method), utilizing a Request for Proposal (RFP), for the selection of a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC). HACC’s findings supporting the use of an exemption from competitive bidding for a public improvement are on file and available for review on the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN). A recommendation for approval of HACC’s findings for an exemption from competitive bidding for a public improvement, utilizing a Request for Proposal process for the selection of a CM/GC, shall be submitted to the HACC Board, acting as the HACC’s Local Contract Review Board, at its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 6:00 PM, Pacific Time, located in the Board Room of the Public Services Building (2051 Kaen Road, Oregon City, OR 97045). If approved by the HACC Board, the exemption from competitive bidding for a public improvement will permit HACC to utilize an alternative contracting method for the procurement of a Construction Manager/General Contractor for the Webster Redevelopment Project.
