PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The City of Madras will hold public hearings before the Madras City Council in order to receive testimony or comments on: Planning File No. AX-20-1, a proposal to annex and re-zone +/- 1.13 acres of tax lots 500 and 700 on Jefferson County Assessor’s Map No. 11-13-14DC and the adjacent SW Merritt Lane right-of-way. STANDARDS AND APPLICABLE CRITERIA: The applicable criteria for this land use decision are the ORS Chapter 222 and the City of Madras Development Code, Article 14 – Annexation (Ord. No. 933). PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING DATE: November 10, 2020 TIME: 6:00 p.m. LOCATION: 125 SW E Street City Hall, Council Chambers Madras, Oregon COVID-19 ACCOMODATIONS To promote social distancing, the City will allow for remote participation through Zoom. Please contact City staff at least 24 hours prior to the applicable public hearing for more information on how to participate remotely. Anyone wishing to present testimony may do so at the public hearing. Anyone may submit written comments in advance of the public hearings to the Community Development Department at 125 SW E Street, Madras, Oregon. The complete file will be available for review at Madras Community Development Department. Upon request, copies of file materials are available at a cost of $.25 per page.
