NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING EXEMPTION FROM COMPETITIVE BIDDING FOR A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT Oak Lodge and Gladstone Community Project June 10, 2020 In accordance with LCRB C-049-0600 and ORS 279C.335, this public notice is for the purpose of taking comments on the Business and Community Services (BCS) draft findings for the approval of an exemption from competitive bidding for a public improvement (i.e., alternative contracting method), utilizing a Request for Proposal (RFP), for the selection of a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC). BCS’s findings supporting the use of an exemption from competitive low-price bidding for a public improvement are on file and available for review on the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN). A recommendation for approval of BCS’s findings for an exemption from competitive bidding for a public improvement, utilizing a Request for Proposal process for the selection of a CM/GC, shall be submitted to the BCC Board, acting as the BCS’s Local Contract Review Board, at its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, June 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM, Pacific Time, located in the Board Room of the Public Services Building (2051 Kaen Road, Oregon City, OR 97045). Due to the COVID-19 emergency the Board will conduct their meetings remotely via Zoom.
