NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL Revisions to 2022 Master Fees and Charges Hearing Date, Time, and Location Tuesday, March 1, 2022; 5:30 p.m. City Council Chamber – 3rd Floor 380 A Avenue Lake Oswego, OR 97034 This meeting will be conducted both in-person at City Hall or virtually via Zoom. Several avenues are available to the public for viewing this Public Hearing or participating remotely. The meeting will be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube Channel and at https://www.ci.oswego.or.us/ as well as broadcast live on Tualatin Valley Community TV; check their website for details. Nature of Hearing The City Council will hold a public hearing to discuss and adopt changes to the City’s fees and charges to correct errors in the Type I, Dead, and Hazardous Tree Permit Violation Enforcement Fee and the Fire and Life Safety Plan Review Fee, and to revise the Fee Exemptions for Affordable Housing including Planning and System Development Charge fees, Resolution 22-08. The Staff Report, draft Resolution, and proposed Revisions will be posted online with the materials for the March 1 Council Meeting. Time Limits on Testimony The purpose of time limits on testimony is to provide all interested persons with an adequate opportunity to present and respond to testimony while at the same time ensuring that the hearing can be conducted in an efficient and expeditious manner. A time limit of three minutes per person for testimony shall be observed, but may be changed by the Council. Decision The City Council may make a decision following the hearing.
