JOHNS Proposals due: January 18, 2023 @ 4:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Request for Proposal (RFP) Sourcing Event No: RFP-49-2023 Sourcing Event Name: Architectural and Engineering (A/E) Services for Chapter 3 Libraries Belmont and St. Johns Proposals due by 4:00 P.M. on: January 18, 2023 Pre-Proposal Conference: December 14th, 2022 at 3:30 P.M. https://meet.google.com/mki-xzho-ipa RFP-49-2023 Architectural and Engineering (A/E) Services for Chapter 3 Libraries Belmont and St. Johns SUMMARY: The Multnomah County Department of County Assets / Facilities and Property Management, on behalf of Multnomah County Library, is seeking Proposers from whom it may procure Architectural and Engineering (A/E) Services for the Chapter Three Library Bond Projects. The purpose of the solicitation is to secure a Proposal of qualifications, as part of a multi-phase selection process, from A/E Service Providers who have prior experience in A/E Services for projects similar in scope, scale, and delivery methods. The Project delivery vehicle will be a Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) process. The awarded A/E firm will be expected to work cooperatively with the Owner, CM/GC, Owner’s Rep and other Trade Partners to design the Project and throughout the life of the Project. The projects to be awarded under this RFP consist of: — Belmont: Renovation of 3,000 sf existing library and a roughly 17,000 sf addition on the existing site. Renovation is anticipated to be completed to life safety standards under the governing code at the time of construction. — St. Johns: Renovation of 5,600 sf existing library and a roughly 1,500 sf addition on the existing site. Renovation is anticipated to be completed to life safety standards under the governing code at the time of construction. Multnomah County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals if not in compliance with the Request for Proposal (RFP) procedures and requirements and to reject any or all proposals or to cancel the Sourcing Event if Multnomah County finds it is in the public interest to do so.
