NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING City of Madras Files: MP-23-1 and SP-23-1 and V-23-1 Jefferson County Fire and EMS has requested Master Plan, Site Plan Review, and Variance approvals on the property identified as 11-13-12CC-300 and addressed as 765 S 5th Street to include an addition of 2,741 sq. ft. to existing buildings, 9560 sq. ft. of future expansion including office building and students housing with related training structures, and a variance request for landscaping requirements, building height standards, and outdoor lighting standards within the Master Plan area. The subject property is zoned Open Space (OS). On May 5, 2023, at 6:00 PM the City of Madras Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for the proposed Master Plan, Site Plan Review, and Variance proposals. The hearing will be held in the Council Chambers at the Madras Police/Station/City Hall located at 125 SW E Street, in Madras. The decision regarding this land use action will be based on compliance Madras Development Code (MMC) Chapter 18.15.110 Land Use Zones – Open Space/Public Facilities, Chapter 18.25 Supplementary Provisions, Chapter 18.50 Exceptions and Variances, Chapter 18.55 – Master Planned Developments, and Chapter 18.80 – Administrative Provisions. If you are unable to attend the hearing, but would like to submit comments for consideration, please submit written comments to the City of Madras at the Madras Police Station/City Hall located at 125 SW E Street.
