PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Estacada Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 27th, 2023, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon, to consider the following proposals: Ord. 2023-003. The City of Estacada is proposing amendments to several sections of Title 16 – Development of the Estacada Municipal Code pertaining to the definitions of types of childcare providers and the zones in which they are allowed to be sited in the City. This proposal includes clarifying definitions of childcare provider types and expanding the areas where childcare facilities may be located. This proposal is subject to the applicable criteria for development code amendments established in Estacada Municipal Code chapter 16.128 and applicable goals and policies of the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to the City Council, who will hold a public hearing at 7:00pm on Monday, May 8th, 2023 in the Estacada City Council Chambers. Subdivision 2023-01-S. The applicant, J & R Homes and Development, is proposing a 20-lot residential subdivision of 5.10 acres of land described as Tax Lots 34E 21CB 2900 & 2903 and Tax Lot 34E 21CA 2000. The subject properties are zoned Low Density Residential (R-1). This application is subject to the approval criteria in Estacada Municipal Code chapters 16.16, 16.25, 16.108, 16.116, 16.118, and applicable goals and policies of the Estacada Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission will forward a recommendation to the City Council, who will hold a public hearing at 7:00pm on Monday, May 8th, 2023 in the Estacada City Council Chambers. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person, or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission’s decision based upon that issue. A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at a reasonable cost. A copy of the City’s staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing.
