NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF HEARING: at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023, in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room, 2051 Kaen Rd., Oregon City, Oregon there shall be a public hearing before the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners on the consideration of the Final Order to withdrawal territory from the Canby Area Parks and Recreation District (CAPRD) proposal 2023-006 CAPRD. The hearing will also determine if a sufficient number of written requests have been received calling for an election to be held on question: Should the territory as described be withdrawn from the district? The territory to be withdrawn is generally all of the territory of the district outside of the City of Canby with the exception of property to the northwest of the City to the east of the Molalla River, to the northeast of the City of in T3S, R1E, Sections 34 and 27, and the areas to the southwest of the City in T4S, R1E, Sections 4, 5, 8 and 9 north of the Molalla River, and to the south and southeast of the City in T4S, R1E, Sections 3 and 4 north of the Molalla River to the eastern boundary of taxlot 41E03 02500. The Board of County Commissioners has adopted a Preliminary Order to withdraw the described territory as it is not feasible for it to receive services from the district. Interested persons may appear and will be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard.
