CLACKAMAS EDUCATION SERVICE DISTRICT EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER REMODEL Bids due: May 23, 2023 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB-001-2023 The Clackamas Education Service District requests bids for the above referenced project. The work of the contract consists of a tenant improvement of an existing 2-story facility. Existing mechanical and electrical rooms and existing exits will remain. The remodel consists of a nearly complete interior reconfiguration. Exterior work consists of a new playground, covered play and other exterior improvements to the existing building, parking lot and campus connections and security as indicated on the Scope of Work and Bid Drawings provided by BBL. Engineer’s estimate for this project is $7,000,000.00. Protests, Technical Questions, Requests for Clarification or Changes of Specifications and/or Bidding Requirements, including Substitution Requests, must be received by the purchasing specialist in writing no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to bid closing date and time. Sealed bids shall be submitted by 2:00 PM Pacific Time, on May 23, 2023 to Pam Bonner, Operations Coordinator, Clackamas Education Service District 13455 SE 97th Avenue, Clackamas, OR 97015 (note: This is a different address than the Early Childhood Center) . Bids received after this time and date will not be accepted. No faxed bids will be accepted. Electronic bids will be accepted if received by the deadline. There will be an in-person public bid opening. First-tier subcontractor lists, if applicable, shall be submitted, preferably in a separate envelope (or email), by 4:00 PM Pacific Time, on May 23, 2023. Bids received after the 2:00 PM Pacific Time submission time, and bids that are not accompanied with the required subcontractor’s list (Section 004400), if applicable, by 4:00 PM Pacific Time, will not be considered. Bidders may obtain electronic copies of Bidding Documents at no charge upon request. Bidders shall comply with all BOLI and CCB requirements as adopted in Senate Bill 477, including all filing, notification, and payment requirements; Retainage for payment for labor, and the filing of a $30,000 public works bond with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. The Public Works Bond shall be obtained from a corporate surety authorized to do business in this state.
