NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Beaverton School District, Washington and Multnomah Counties, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, will be held at the Beaverton School District Administration Office, 1260 NW Waterhouse Ave., Beaverton, OR 97006. The meeting will take place on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will also be livestreamed on youtube.com/BeavertonSchools. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting, make public comment and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. The Budget Committee will accept written comment for the May 8, 2023 meeting. Please submit comment or testimony electronically to https://forms.gle/yjaWCNqkBdPAoowNA or by mail addressed to the Beaverton School District Budget Committee, 1260 NW Waterhouse Ave., Beaverton, OR 97006. Clearly label as public comment or testimony for the Budget Committee meeting. All written public comment submitted by 5:00 p.m. on May 5, 2023 will be presented to the Budget Committee at the May 8, 2023 meeting. Alternatively, the Budget Committee will also accept virtual testimony via Zoom. Beaverton School District Budget Committee remains committed to the public comment process and will consider all public comments submitted. The proposed budget document will be available on the Budget webpage on or after May 2, 2023. The next scheduled meeting will be on May 17, 2023 at the District Administration Office.
