PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD Crook County hereby gives notice that it intends to expend funds in accordance with Title III of P.L. 106-393, Secure Rural Schools and Self Determination Act, as required under Section 302 (5)(b) of the same reauthorized in 2014. The county intends to expend up to $20,250.00 in federal funds for the purpose of providing a portion of the minimum budget for the Oregon Living with Fire program. The intention of said program is for Central Oregon communities to cooperate and assist with community protection efforts for the purpose of implementation of Community Wildfire Protection Plans in Central Oregon.
