Fairgrounds Road Madras, Oregon 97741 General Notice Jefferson County, Oregon (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Jefferson County Fairgrounds ADA Improvements – 2023 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Jefferson County Buildings and Grounds Department located at 430 S.W. Fairgrounds Road, Madras, Oregon 97741, until June 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Installation of cement concrete stairs and an accessibility ramp with pedestrian railing, 860 square yards (SY) of asphalt concrete pedestrian pathways, and a 600 SY asphalt concrete parking expansion with eight Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) parking stalls and 16 standard parking stalls. The following additive alternate(s) may be selected by the Owner to become part of the Work: Bid Alternate 1 involves installing 1,700 SY of asphalt concrete for vehicle access. Bid Alternate 2 involves installing 450 SY of asphalt concrete pedestrian pathways, a 600 SY asphalt concrete parking expansion with eight ADA parking stalls and 15 standard parking stalls, and 1,100 SY of asphalt concrete vehicle access pavement. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. This Project is being funded in part by the Oregon State Lottery and administered by the Oregon Business Development Department. The Project has an expected duration of 20 working days.
