NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Budget Committee of the City of Beaverton, Oregon will hold a public meeting on May 31, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. in the Third Floor Conference Room, 4755 SW Griffith Drive, Beaverton, Oregon. The purpose of the meeting is to review the proposed Supplemental Budget and budget transfers for the City of Beaverton including the use of revenue sharing funds for the fiscal year 2012-13. Any person may appear to discuss the budget or any part of it.
A Public Hearing on the proposed Supplemental Budget (#S-13-2) will be held at a Special City Council meeting immediately following the Budget Committee Meeting.
This information is available in large print or audio tape upon request. In addition, assistive listening devices, sign language interpreters, or qualified bilingual interpreters will be made available at any public meeting or program within 48 hours advance notice. Budget Committee Public Hearing
On Thursday, May 16, 2013, at 6:00 p.m., the Budget Committee will hold a public hearing to take public comment on the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2013-14 budget and to allow the citizens the opportunity to provide written and oral comment on the possible uses of state revenue sharing distributions. The budget document, or parts thereof, are available by contacting Finance Director Jon Ellis at (503) 366-8227.
The meetings will be open to the public and held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 265 Strand Street, Plaza Entrance, St. Helens. The facility is handicap accessible. If you need special accommodations, please contact City Recorder Kathy Payne at (503) 366-8217 at least 48 hours in advance.
