NOTICE OF APPLICATION
Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:
LD 2011-0008 — Fanno Creek Trail Tree Removal
The applicant, Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THRPD), is seeking Tree Plan Two approval to remove ten (10) additional trees from Significant Natural Resource Area SNRA #18 and Significant Grove G11. The total DBH of trees proposed to be removed with this application is 125 inches. The applicant proposes to remove three trees for a total of thirty-two (32) inches; and will attempt to retain the remaining seven (7) trees totaling ninety-three (93) inches of DBH which may potentially be impacted by trail construction. Trail location and previous land use approvals are not affected by this proposal. The site is located along the rear of the properties between 10420 Allen Blvd and 9600 SW Allen Blvd. The site is described by the Washington County Assessor as Map 1S123 BB, Tax Lots 500, 300, 800, Map 1S123 BA, Tax Lot 1000 and Map 1S123 BD, Tax Lots 2500, 100. The project area is approximately 2.22 acres.
To be addressed in the staff report, written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 19, 2011. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Development Services Division, 2nd Floor, Beaverton City Hall, 4755 SW Griffith Drive.
The decision-making authority for the above application is the Director. Any decision on the above development application shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in Section 40.90.15.2.C of the Beaverton Development Code.
Pursuant to Section 50.40.10, the Director shall issue a written decision on the above development application on or about Wednesday, October 26, 2011.
