Public Notice- Virtual Public Hearing on Monday April 27, 2020

PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the City of Estacada City Council will hold a Virtual Public Hearing on Monday, May 11, 2020, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect our more vulnerable members of the community, the City of Estacada will be holding public meetings virtually. Everyone is encouraged to please attend the meeting online or by phone. Anyone who cannot access the meeting online or by phone can attend the meeting in person in the Council Chambers at Estacada City Hall. In order to follow social distancing guidelines from Clackamas County Public Health Authority, the City Council Chambers will be limited to 10 people at a time. Written testimony can also be submitted, but must be submitted by 4:00 pm to the City Recorder on the date of the meeting. To email written testimony send to main@cityofestacada.org. They will consider the following application: Appeal #2020-01 – To Appeal the Planning Commission’s Denial of Conditional Use Application #2020-01 CU. The appellant, Kevin McAllister has filed an appeal of the Planning Commission’s February 27, 2020 decision to deny his Conditional Use Application to allow them to construct 2 hoop houses on site. Applicable criteria include Sections 16.36 and 16.132.050 of the Estacada Municipal Code. Property is described as 34E, 17B, tax lot 1200 – 1190 NW Noble Drive. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on this proposed action may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Council’s decision based upon that issue. A copy of the application, appeal and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost upon request to campi@cityofestacada.org. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost. Information regarding the application may be obtained from the City’s Planning staff representative, Taylor Campi, Estacada City Planner, 503.630.8270 ext. 211. Published 04/16/20 EN160284
