NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND HEARINGS ON SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE CITY OF BEAVERTON’S 2019 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR THE USE OF CDBG AND CDBG-CV FUNDS TO PREVENT, PREPARE FOR AND RESPOND TO THE COVID-19 CRISIS City of Beaverton Action Plans are annual components of the Consolidated Plan that specifically describe how the City of Beaverton will spend scarce federal resources over a one-year period for activities serving low- and moderate-income persons, the homeless, and persons with special needs using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. This substantial amendment proposes to: — Repurpose $200,000 of PY2019 CDBG uncommitted funds to emergency rental assistance; — Allocate $400,000 of CDBG-CV CAREs Act funds to emergency rental assistance; — Allocate $13,479 to meal delivery services for senior citizens. The draft amendment to the 2019 Action Plan is available for public review and comment from Friday, May 1 through Tuesday, May 5 at 5 pm.
